Battle Ratings
Each tier is divided into battle ratings (BR). Placement within a particular BR depends on the combat effectiveness of the vehicle and influences its recovery speed during battle. There are three BR categories:
| BR | Description |
|---|---|
| x.1 | Vehicles with below-average combat effectiveness (these have the highest recovery speed during battle). |
| x.2 | Vehicles with average combat effectiveness (these combine reasonably high combat effectiveness with moderate recovery speed). |
| x.3 | Vehicles with high combat effectiveness (highly effective vehicles balanced by a low recovery speed). |
As a rule, a vehicle's placement on a specific tier is determined by the period when the vehicle entered production. However, to arrange vehicles more effectively within a technology branch, tier adjustments may be applied if:
- The vehicle's development was prolonged, causing it to become outdated by the time of introduction. In this case, the vehicle can be repositioned to the era when its development began.
- The vehicle is an upgrade of an older model, and its position may be moved down the branch according to the number of modifications it represents.
- The vehicle is a prototype of a promising design and may be moved up to correspond with the era in which its serial production was anticipated.
It is worth noting that advanced project vehicles from the 1980s to 2000s are allocated separate tiers due to their very high combat effectiveness. Additionally, there are periods covering multiple tiers - for example, vehicles from the WWII. In such periods, vehicle distribution is primarily based on combat effectiveness rather than strict tier designation.
